Anyone going to the Nelson county downriver race

Post by riverratrsf »

I need someone to help me with a shuttle on 4/29/05 sometime that evening. I've never paddled the Tye river before and want to paddle it prior to the race, maybe we can paddle it together. Also where's the best place to stay, I thought about camping at the takeout.
Many thanks
Scott

Have you checked with Conny? If he's not paddling Friday he can probably hook you up with someone who is. Last year we pre-ran it early on Saturday morning. This year we're just going to race. Probably a bad idea, but we shouldn't mess up the boat any worse than we did last year after pre-running it

Our plan is to show up Saturday morning early enough to race, but not pre-run it.
