To all, who have paddled, and thought of paddling either oof these boats, which is more fun? The Spark is the ignitor minus 1.5 feet, with small other modifications, right? After reading another positive article on the Spark in the new Rapid magazine. I was suddenyl more excited to paddle one. Any hope of lending one out to the Northwest Kaz? So, if any one has paddled both, and can offer a good comparison, id love to hear. and also how does the heavy glass layup from Millbrook compare to the feel of the 'camo' on the Spark. thanks for the info,
just wondering

Issac,
Do you prefer plastic or composite? There is your answer grasshopper.
Too many people are afraid of "glass". I think that a well made composite boat will outlast an abs boat. It's certainly easier to repair composite boats.

you have my attention, Kaz
I will have to admit that glass seems scary. As we have talked, I got an old Noah cheap and this week I took some fiberglass and resin and practiced some preventive medicine on the ends. I really think that my next boat will be one of yours. It starting to make sense.

glass or plastic
I have paddled one of your boats, the defiant i think, however it wasnt in a very eddy ridden section. so i didnt really get to feel how it handled. as a side, how do the cab-forward designs work for surfing? is it a different way to ride the wave? or is there not much of a difference? Is there any speed discrepancies between the two designs that are noticeable, or are they pretty comparable? Anyhow im excited to paddle either of them. plus i think the rumba would be fun to paddle. Kudos on the many excellent designs, and i look forward to trying out a cab-forward design.

I paddled a Defiant and loved it, but have never been in one of the cab forward designs. Any coming to the Armada?
