Taureau Demoing

Post by dixie_boater »

Louie,

I am thinking about coming up to the Nanty on Sunday to try out the Taureau. Does it have foam bulkhead or straps? After reading that your friend Dooley (@225 lb.) was able to paddle it gives me hope that I can paddle it as I weigh 230 lb. What would be a good time to meet you?

I'll be walkin around with a white Jack Rusell, that all the chick will be stoppin to pet and talk to, I'd like to do the Cascades and the Worser Wesser in it but don't care to paddle any thing else there, You can have it all day. It has the foam saddle thingy in it Dooley was worried he would fit in it ( his legs ) but he didn't have any problems at all. When you usin it you have to tell everyone it is a proto type and let anyone who want to get in it, have a couple of minutes. The only thing that would knock you out of usin it is some good lookin chick. BTW you know why a women would paddle a c or oc boat? Her balls are too big to fit in a Kayak.

Paddlin' Taureau on Sunday

Post by dixie_boater »

Louie,

I'll probably get there around noon. I'll look for you around the falls. If I don't see you there I'll go up to the Cascades. Shouldn't be hard to find a black F150 with orange OC and Jack Russell terrier.

All the women open boaters I know paddle with Nolan. They are definitely very good paddlers and probably need the "extra room in their boat"

Any chance of that boat making it out to Colorado? We've got great water this year. would love to see some pics of the 2 new boats. Thanks Bob remoteproductions@yahoo.com
P.S. Had to call my girlfriend and tell her that she had too big of balls for kayaking (she was heckled by some yakers last night). That made her day.

Boat going to Colorussia

Post by Louie »

There is a major open boat swara going on out there the first week in July. Dooley and his dad Charlie are having a big open boat thing at their ranch near the Pouder. Having already taken a week off and considering I'm takin another one off in August to go to Canada for boating and Andrew's wedding I don't think I'm going to make Colorussia. It sound like getting the boat out there has turned into a major cluster forification. They must be usin a honda ( motorcycle) to transport the boats to hear them tell it. I would loan the Teaurea to Dick, Dopey, Dooley or Bailey if any want to use it out there and it would be for laon. If you call me I'll get you in touch with someone going that of a ways
