e-mail me an image and I'll post it for you...or look around the cockpit (usually, but not always right around where your right knee is) and you should see a build tag (though it may be partially covered by a knee pad...).
Keep the C!

Alleged Batmax
At 11' 10" what you have cannot possibly be a FULL LENGTH Batmax. The Batmax was a circa 1983 regulation slalom boat and consequently was a full 4 meters (13' 2") long. You may have a version that has been cut down (by about 7" on each end to make it safer for cruising and playing), which is entirely feasible given how pointy the original Batmax was.
If you had difficulty reading the label and there is a possibility that it was misread based on only a portion being decipherable, then you might even have a different boat entirely. There are other boats that have either the word "bat" or "max" in their name and started out as shorter boats(e.g. the Acrobat or the Gyramax).

Hey Mike, ya the crappy, um... er, surfing machine H2Pro what a barge, I mean boat. There's gotta be a beginner out there who needs a stable, solid craft to carry their cooler in . Thanks again for taking that off my hands.
The Fifebrook section of the Deerfield in Western Mass. is my regular river run now that natural flows have diminished. The rock garden, "The Fosterian Numbers", provides some challenging moves on easy water and then there's Zoar Gap. A few of the Northeast's finest slalom racers were out there last weekend getting ready for the Nationals, good luck to all heading for that competition.
This is Zoar Outdoors Demofest weekend if you're looking for a new boat or maybe to unload an old one. C ya out there....
