Hopefully this will turn into an annual event, or at least an Armada as opposed to just 3 canoeist showing up:
Anyway, I'd like to organize a Nantahala Armada-
Sep 10/11
Sept 17/18
Oct 1/2
Depending on the # of Participants we could have 3 trips
Sat: Advanced Ocoee- Int: Tuck or Ravenfork *though i would need a trip Leader for Ocoee - depending on skill and level the Tuck could be the back up river
Sun: Nanty
Camping - Turkey Creek ??
Nantahalla Armada

Nanty Armada
The last date option I believe is 10/28-10/30 the same weekend as the NOC Guest Appreciation Fest- that weekend would be realy crowded for parking etc...
Scott B had an awesome site there last year- walking dist to NOC- Anyway, let me know if there is an interest so I can get sites reserved etc...

I've got GAF on my calendar and will very likely make it again this year. I hadn't reserved sites yet, though. You can always count on seeing some C-boaters there...

Nanty
It will be Gaf weekend, 10/28 -10/30
At least it will be Scott B, Ncdavid and me and kneal might be able to come.
Scott said lost mine likes a quieter crowd, so I'll be staying at Turkey creek.

Cr@p. I just found out that a Y Adventure Guides (similar to Cub Scouts / Brownies) camp out is scheduled for that weekend. I missed a meeting and didn't get to influence the date, though I'm not sure I could have changed it - around here college football controls the calendar in the Fall. Got to do it for the kids...

Hi Scott
No problem I think it will just be the normal GAF people and hopefully the single bladers will just be able to party and paddle some.
I think I'll be at the Nanty 8/20 if you want to go- hoping to get back on wilson in 2-3 weeks is you want to paddle their too- I'm going to either convert a GUS or finish up the Nomad- or both
