finally got on the linville today. That is the ticket man, you need to come run that large steaming pile of dog doo sometime. Best day of boating I've had in a while for sure. When you coming down again?

Will,
That sounds pretty cool - looks like 2.3 was your water level (according to your BT post) on Sunday. Ryan Bahn (a c-1 from DC) said he did it on saturday at about 3.1 with about 5 portages. I will keep my eye on the water levels. My interest is quite high concerning that river, Watauga, and the West Prong. I just recently saw Southern Fried Creeking and Watauga looks awesome! I will be down again before winter and hopefully we can run one of those or failing that - the Green.

yeah, it was high on saturday. I was going to put on but we didn't get to the put-in until about 3:00 and I didn't want to be rushed and flying down the river blind through gi-normous holes. 2.3 was a good medium level. What does Ryan drive? I met a couple of DCer's after they got back to the put-in running shuttle at about 8 oclock. Gotta get on it, it's the $$$$$$$.
