Geoff,

don't know if anyone has a Taureau demoboat inSouthern Ontario right now, but Jeff from boatwerks told me that he will have one up at the shop in Minden next season.

Thanks Chris, I'll give Al a try, otherwise looks like I'll have to wait until Boatwerks gets one in.
Regarding doing vertical moves, probably easier than in my Nitro!

Hi keez, if you want to give my boat a spin your more than welcome. I`ll be at the Moose next weekend if your interested, I`ll be with Joe Langman and Paul Mason and they`ll both have Taureaus as well and I`m sure you could also jump into one of theirs. If that doesn`t work for you just email me and we should be able to set something up.

I was able to put the end down for some air at Centre Slot on the Ottawa two weeks ago...... It also owns Push Bottom, it almost wanted to go into auto pilot !!! Also had the driest run down McKoys ever...... only a 1/2" H2O after Baby Face. So it should be a blast on the Moose, Grass and Independence.

Al,
How was Moosefest?
Thanks for the offer on trying your Taureau. I'd like to test the boat on something more local and a river I know, like the Gorge or the Gull, for comparison. Trouble is, there's no water in either one.
Maybe we could hook up sometime in November, if it rains.

trim cockpit rim

Post by Wendy »

Al or others who have Taureaus- Do you think it would be safe to trim the side rim any to accomodate larger thighs? Like 1/4 inch?

I`m not sure what you mean, are you asking about the seam along the side of the boat or the side edge around the cockpit ? I`m thinking you mean the side edge in the cockpit, you could but the further you trim the further you take the sides down which would mean a wetter boat. I guess it would be ok as long as you did`nt trim to much, so I don`t think a 1/4" would be to much.
