How many people in North America have Cu-flys?

I would guess not too many more than 10, but I was wondering if there were secret OC rodeo boaters anywhere.

I'm definately in North America and have one here. I ALSO have one still in Australia that is for sale (AUS or NZ Paddlers let me know if you are interested!).

My bud Roy (not internet capable) also has one.

So thats, one for Dooley, one for Dale, one for ME and one for Roy... and I get a 1/2 because the other boat was here for a while then left... might come back but maybe not? "Ghetto Johnny" has one as well I think. Paul Mason has one too.

There are at least 2 here in Ontario, Chris in Mississauga and someone else (forgot his name) here in the Toronto area each have one.

Bring it on Johnny. Pool sessions start december 2. http://surfbwa.org/html/eventsN.html

First thing I would tell you is make sure you don't have too much slop in your outfitting. I've found this to be my biggest problem.

Pool world vs. Real world.

Pool=warm-n-comfy vs. Real world=cold-rocky-hostile.

Tip#1 When rolling a OC Playboat & most canoes (or practicing in pool) get your torso away from the boat.. simply relying on the paddle and tucking simply won't get you up. Practice throwing your torso outwards and upwards (to the surface) quickly and really getting some good body movement and torso twist to bring you up. Most importantly in my view is to go offsides first... this is the way you are gonna' get flipped anyway!, from an offside position find your right side immediately.. once you've got past fumbling for the setup you'll already be up when "setting up" on the wrong side. As an observation I've watched others and they almost always roll sucessfully when setting up as they are about to go over... this helps enormoussly when playing in holes an you are onside. Our onside is pert-near bombproof.. we get hammered offside 99%... lot's of info there---whew!
