I ordered a Esquif Taureau and it turned out to be a little small for me. This was one of the first production Taureaus Esquif turned out. It was returned to The Mountain Shop in Fort Collins, CO. Dan Evans the co-owner is a OC'er and one of few carrying the canoe torch in this region. He's a great guy too. I'm just trying to help him out. Contact him at dan@themountainshop.com

I've wanted to try one of these out, but haven't seen any out east where I usually go to paddle..

In what way was the boat small for you?? Are you a tall person, and is there an optimum weight for that boat?

Thanks.

msims,

6'3", 230. Check my earlier posts on the C forum. I sort of ran it into the ground there.
