LL Space Cadet C1

I have the opportunity to buy a Liquid Logic Space Cadet fully fitted as a C1 this weekend although I am mainly a Open boat paddler and have a CU Fly and Prelude.

What are peoples thoughts on me gettin this boat to help with my open boating skills, would it be of benefit or too similar to my CU in holes and waves and just be another boat in my garage?

Also I am planning on tryin the boat on saturday but wondered if anyone has any experince with this boat as a C1 and if i would be too heavy or light for it at 75kg.

Definately try it out! C1's will improve your OC1 Skills. Space Caddy is a pretty decent one to boot.

I'm in a similar situation as Col, I have an opportunity to get a LL pop. The space cadet is a good conversion, how about the pop?

I had a sc that i converted for to years and loved it it is so much fun to go throw ends and surf holes and not have to go dump every time it was a little slow and liked to get vertical sometimes when I didnt neccarily wanted to but you can throw down hard core I weigh 185 and I think i was at the top of the scale on it but that didnt effect the preformance very much i paddled a cu fly a couple times and would love to have one because i think it is an awsome oc1 and i knew frankie when they first came out i read about them on the robson website but hadnt seen any pictures of them i came hme from work one day and 2 of them were sittting in the back of a truck in my driveway went inside and there was frankie he had just come in from germany and was taking them to gauley fest how cool he was like how did you know about them and i told him i had read about them on the web. the only thing about the sc c1 is that it seems like i got more sloppy with my roll because it is so easy to roll and your technique doesnt have to be so precise
