Does anyone know where to get this helmet in the US? Anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks,
Matt

It's a great helmet, but they don't make it anymore.
They make the Rocker now and it's a great Helmet as well.
Living in BC, I have suggest looking at FNA though ;-)

Cheers, Jan
Is there something like an expert kayaker?

Try NOC and Zoar

Post by David Nickerson »

Both NOC (noc.com) and Zoar (zoaroutdoor.com) stock Sweet.

I love my Holy Diver. It's the only helmet I've ever owned that really fit well.

Having said that, I must confess that I've heard some sketchy things about Sweet's (lack of) testing, overall build quality and mpact absorbtion. These concerns were raised by another helmet manufacturer, but still concern me a bit.

Best,

On the subject of testing helmets  I've seen the Dumpster break three helmets.
Rock Headz - broke the gel-coat.
Sweet (looks like a baseball cap) - crushed the laminate.
Greatful Heads - broke all the way through :o You could stick your finger through the hole.

I'll make it worth your while if anyone can find me another Bell (preferably red). Stiffest paddling helmet I've ever found.
