Tsangpo C-1?

Post by sbroam »

I'm reading "The Last River" about the expedition to run the Tsangpo. The author inidcates that Jamie McEwan considered a glass boat (for weight) but elected to go plastic like the rest of the team. They also indicate that Prijon supplied the boats. Anybody know what boat Jamie paddled?

I hear the kayakers were in Tornado's and the C-1 was in a 'Scade.

Thanks! That's about the only production C-1 that made sense.

I've got the video that National Geographic (I think) made. It was a Cascade but they kept calling it a kayak

So Scott are you doing research for a run yourself?

I'll bring the Zephyr to the Nationals if you want to try it then.
