i dunno, wendy, the ocoee is domestic and all, but that looks like . . . Der Eiskanal? Craig, that move is actually called the "Smummersault" when done by Smerda. And, look, when Craig Smerda does loops, he doesn't flip upside down. He makes the river go upside down and he stays right where he is - in this case, Wisconsin.

Craig,
That picture inspires me to get into my spanishfly and try the move. What are you doing with your paddle; is it just a brace, or are you using it as a lever to pirouette the boat?
If you also don't mind sharing info; I'm trying to figure out how the cartwheel the boat. Are there tips, videos or books that could help me with this.
Thanks as always,
Geoff

Geoff - you need bigger features ;-) Glenn Lee did an ender in his detonator on babyface :-) Let me know if/when you're heading to the Ottawa, would be good topaddle with you. I'd be up for this weekend if you're interested.

Mike.

Still have it... Roy, Pete and I all competed in the same boats... makes it more even. Still waiting for my Salsa. Are we gunna' have a OCTeamTrials?.... talk with Eli about it at Nat's and get back to me. If we don't make an effort to be at the Worlds they are gunna' dump us. (oc1). Wife is days away from having the baby. :D

It's a crossbow move... sorta' like a piroutte.... but it moves the boat more into a cartwheel position in a big enough hole.... which this hole isn't.

BTW... I was launching HUGE old school enders in Jacques personal Taureau! :D

Actually it isn't about a HUGE or even a BIG feature.... it's all about driving the nose in and down. :D
