How do I get a Robson Homes?

Post by Dooleyoc-1 »

I called the Robson USA rep and it went to voicemail and it said that the mailbox was full and couldn't receive messages. Anyone know who I need to get in touch with? Thanks-

the robson usa people, Anna and Christian are hopeless. they are horrible to do business with. everything about my fink took 5 months longer than it should have. i got the boat but no skirt for 4 months, then the skirt started to unravel, and it took them 6 more months to get back to me(because they leave for germany about 2 weeks ago every year) and get back in march. the best bet would be to email Robert Sommers at Robson in Bavaria. though he's not much better to try to talk to either. that companies reps in america are far too difficult to do anything with, and unfortunately so, because their stuff isn't bad. when it gets here.

or what i meant to say was go to the Robsonpaddle.com website, and then start English, and contact. I believe that gets you through to Robert.

I'd like one in Armorlite please

Post by MotorCityOC-1 »

When I get aroung to buying a new OC-1 it'll likely be a Zephyr or a Homes. I'm through with buying boats I've never paddled though- I'd need to paddle one a couple of times before I'd commit.

The white one in the pics looks like Royalex to me- or possibly a composite prototype. Anyone know for sure?

my homes is ARMERLITE

The prototype of the kayak, the Prodigy, is also white. The weave looks just like the kayak. What color was the boat at the boat show in Utah? Maybe somehow it ended up at Sierra Trading Post and I got that one. Just curious. I think you guys would know if there had been another one in the States.

Anyone know where I could get red bags, size 36? Still looking. Blue or silver are my other choices. Thanks. Renee

The white one is also armerlite, it's available in two colors, black and white. There are also some boats they tried with red Material (as seen on the Rissbach Creek film), but as there's no red in mass production to buy from the material supplier so it's not available anymore. The white one looks really cool, but it starts to look a bit dirty afer a while because dirt settles down in the harsh ('hope that's the right word) surface of scratches.

You can get through to Robson by mailing to.

Renee,

Check w/ Harmony. They apparently make some red, 3d solo end bags for tripping canoes. I do not know if they still sell them, but I saw 2 on eBay last week. They may have been NOS, but they were new in the package.

I was going to get them for my tired red bags I have in my Quake but did not pull the trigger. I just looked on eBay and did not see them, auction is probably over. I will keep looking for you....
