Atom, Miami Vice colors

Post by mshelton »

I'll trade this thing for a a 6 pack of Sierra Nevada, the boat doesn't have a seat pan in it (ripped it out for a fencerail setup then used the foam saddle for something else).
It has holes drilled for thigh straps and some makeshift hip grabbers if I remember correctly. Otherwise the boat is in great shape, well great for an Atom.

I paddled it once and hated it about 10 min into the trip, it's about as responsive as an oversized soggy poptart or an elephant turd, I couldn't figure out which but hey, some like that.

Anyhow, it's in my garage and dumpster bound. First 6 pack takes it, beers must be reasonably cold and unopened.

And before you ask, NO I will not deliver, ship, mail, pony express this thing, located in Richmond 1 min and 42 seconds from the Reedy Creek putin.

atom

Whoa boys.....
"Cline's home for wayward and hated boats" will take that sucker off your hands. I'm needing some boats to teach kids to C in and the Atom would be great - great volume and not too sloppy to roll. Well at least that's my cut!
If it can get a ride with the squeak (knowing Her Mshelton will not be seen with it on his wheels) up my way I'd appreciate it. But if it's got target practice written on it... oh well! Just let me know!

PS A six pack will be provided to go with the pork!

when I think of Miami Vice, I think of white sportscoats, and pink undershirts, adn exceptionally bad muistache configurations. is that what the boat is?

Teal, purple and black in quite possibly the ugliest possible graphics design Dagger ever produced.

If I can dig up the theme song from the show I'll throw that in for an extra 1/2 bag of CornNuts or a melted grape Slurpee.

Speaking of scuttling, we gotta get Tommy and my Nitro he never paid for out to Balcony on day so I can send that 800 lb marshmallow to the bottom.

If it's gonna be scuttled I want to watch. But knowing y'all, it'll be on the web for all to see  I was kind of thinking of an Atom for harder, shallow runs, but I was sleeping & missed the chance on this one. Oh, well.

No worries PAC, I've got a cold 6-pack in the fridge waiting to take to Marshall. I'll put the boat in my collection till we can work out a ride for the sucker, though target practice would be alot of fun :P
I'll try to pick it up ASAP so it doesn't find it's way to the dumpster..
I'll be headed to Webster Springs on the 30th of this month and the NBP April 28th. let me know if you'll be available for either.

Funk-a-deal-itic boat...

Post by PAC »

Thanks Squeak & MS - I'll try to get to both (Webster might be tough since the ski season is still full on and the boy is doing okay in the freestyle program).
Beer will be included at hand off! I'll just make sure to have a flower print shirt, straw hat and cool shades on for the hand off! LOL
