The Squd -- kneel on top C1 squirt spud

Post by C1Deli »

Here it is:

(also shows Rough Stuff C1 savage for those that are interested)

It's 5'10" and about 32gal / 120 litres, so for me the front deck is almost covered, stern about an inch or two below the surface.

As it's made of expanded polypropylene foam, it weighs about 8lbs :)

once again the fervid imagination of a lefty annihilates all rational thought! I like the choice of material: it functions both as boat and Life preserver.

Just paddled it in the pool again, and it still won't roll --- I think the centre of buoyancy is just too low ... I'm now thinking it's more like an ocean surfer's boogieboard -- if you come off, you just slither back on again ...

Short does make vertical moves harder (and less impressive-looking too).

A longer version would sag in the middle.

No idea on mysteries
