fink straps

Post by PAC »

Col
I'm suppose to be getting a Fink here shortly (hint - Bill did you make the hand off :) ) and upon talking to martin know I will be going that route. I paddled Martins with straps but can't remember the set up but know that it worked really well.
I'll check out Martin's set up and see if I can get some photos at the Armada. I'll also review for my install and provide an update then. In the mean time - if you get some good thoughts let me know! I'll be in touch.

Hello Col,
I just sent you an email with some pictures of my Fink outfitting. I am not sure how to post them here.
Sorry Larry - oh, you've already seen the outfitting anyway :) .

I just sent Col the strap set-up that I have in the Fink. However, I would appreciate a look at how others have set up their Finks. Martin and Bruce would you mind sharing? My email address is marcevan@wsu.edu.

Thanks, Marc

Thanks Martin; for sending me those pics. I just bought a Finkenmiester and would like to see all ideas. I'm 6' 1" &
170lbs, and the factory outfitting is just too big. (need more foam?)
I'm used to straps in my OC1s, but the more setups I see ; the better I'll feel about changing the factory outfitting.
Thanks one and all, Billy

Larry,

I don't have high speed internet, and I don't have my pictures posted on any of those picture hosting sites.
Having your pictures on some hosting site is , as far as I know, a prerequisite to show them here in a post, and uploading them onto one of those picture hosting sites is a pain if you're on dial-up.
I will upload them at some point, but not in the near future.

I will however e-mail them to anyone who wants them, just send me an e-mail/PM me your e-mail adress, and they are on the way.

Cheers!

Somebody who has them and has high speed internet, e-mail them to me and I can post them here (http://picasaweb.google.com/scott.broam/CanoeOutfitting) if you like.
