Here are a few links to pages that show some of the rapids on the Ottawa.
Haven't found a really good on-line guide yet that does the river justice. Most of the posted info is from rafting companies, so it kinda sucks from a paddlers prospective, but it will give you an idea of what to expect.
You have to bring the Sith up here though, the Ottawa is the river that boat is made for ! Plus the Gatineau is only about 1.5 hrs away!

The Gatineau is not a 4-5 , more like a 3-4 river.

Martin, the Sith will definately be on the roof for a trip up up there, I'm just finishing up the outfitting in it now.
Paul, the trip is still in the "it would be cool as hades to go to x" phase but I'm thinking that I'll plan something for late summer, when it's good and hot, muggy and funky here in Richmond a trip up to Canada would be a nice treat, it'd be cool if you wanted to hook up maybe we could convince Martin and his cronies to show us around.

I will gladly show you guys around, just give me a bit of notice so I can make sure that I am around and can, if possible, take a couple of days off off.mshelton wrote:Martin, the Sith will definately be on the roof for a trip up up there, I'm just finishing up the outfitting in it now.
