WTB Slasher
I'm looking for a Slasher in good condition. Anyone have one moldering away in their boat rack? I'm in Maryland/DC area, but willing to travel a bit.
Thanks!
Colleen

HaHaHaHaHa!!!!!
Never! You can have my slasher when you pry it from my cold dead fingers HaHaHaHa!
But you can borrow it.
We'll chat real soon,

have fun or go home!
Why a Slasher?
Why a Slasher? I like the design and it's plastic; I'm a klutz in a C-1 still. Yeah, it's heavy, but a Slasher tolerates my errors much better than anything glass right now. We have one in the house already, so I'm familiar with the boat, and this way David can paddle circles around me in his and still point and laugh (at me).
Still haven't had any luck locating one yet..., but I might have to take Jim up on his offer to help shake Eric out of his!

I dunno why, but, I'm fond of mine, too...ezwater wrote:Yeah, why a Slasher? Assuming you're fairly light in weight, you could pick up a good used slalom c-1 and campaign it with a very low rate of repairs? hades, I'm heavy, and I never cracked the hull of my Dagger Zealot.

slasher
well, there you go. With my boat and Scott's outfitting, you could make a real fine Slasher.

Slasher!
Paul,
Yes, I did find a Slasher with thigh straps. It is outrageously yellow, and if you ever see me upside down in the river *please* come and save my sorry soul.
PS-It's great fun and you are welcome to try it anytime.
PPS-The Zapper is alive and well. Being of a delicate nature, it has been wistfully thinking about more padding in the river, anytime soon will do.
Arrgh and Scott,
Thank you both very much for your generous offers about Slasher and parts. I know this is late in coming, but I wanted to thank you anyway!
