paddle repairs

Post by keez »

My Mitchell paddle (Premier carbon) had a rough weekend. Part of the carbon covering, at the corner of the aluminum tip, wore off down to the wooden core.
The damage is not so bad as to have to send the paddle to Mitchell.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a glue or epoxy to fix the damaged area.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Geoff
BTW-Palmerfest was awesome!

Thanks Mike, that's a great idea. I'll bring the paddle in and see what resin or epxoy they recommend.
Guess you missed Palmerfest. Pretty awesome event. Scott and the gang put on a great show. Hass was at a really good level as well.
I was going to do some teaching at Palmers this weekend, but their group had to bail.
Have fun, it's only been 2 days and I miss the water already.
