Suggested weight ranges

Post by Kanu »

Im looking at a Mamba for river/creek stuff but am on the top range of the weight for the 7.5. I remember reading somewhere about how a c1 affects the range a bit more than a kayak but I dont remember how. Anyone have an opinion on weight range stuff? Thanks,

C1 gives you more leverage, therefore it would be easier to paddle a boat with a higher weight range.

If your at the top of the weight range, try sitting in the kayak in the water and look at the waterline, if it looks a little small for you it will be even easier to perl the bow with the extra leverage when you set it up as c1.
