Hmm... Anyone else interested in a Fink?
If the price were right, I'd be interested in one this fall or next spring (funds are already set aside for a Sith now:) ). If another "new" boat helped get more in the country, it might be doable on my end.
I don't suppose they mentioned how MANY boats made it feasible? Our first wheelboys were 6 boats, IIRC.

I spent alot of phone time trying to track one down.
The "former" importers in Wa. ; finally gave me the names of all the shops they supplied with Finks. No luck! Next, I emailed then talked with Robert (us rep.?) at Robson. Cost prohibitive to ship from Germany. Then, someone called me back, one of the shop owners. I can't remember his name, great guy. He may lurk on this site. Anyway, he gives me a name: Endless River Adventures in N.C.
They sell Robson paddles. So, I call their shop and talk to the manager, really nice girl, can't remember her name either. She calls Germany. SO, this is long process. All the shop owners that I talked with, said that the "importers" in WA. were difficult to work with. I don't think it was a priority with them, more like a diversion. In fact, she told me they were no longer importing boats from Robson. And, Robson said that they were looking for new US distribution. So, I buy a used Finkenmiester from Isaac on this board. Thanks Isaac. Then, the girl from Endlessrivers calls me back and they would be willing to piggyback a boat on their next paddle order. This all happened in Feb./March.
SO, bottom line: A. Call Robson and become US distr. B. Call Endlessrivers and make a deal. C. buy used. Hope this helps!!!

fink
A Wi boater hooked me up with the local rep- After the Washington folks basically ignored me- the US rep did get in touch with me but never got back to me about becoming a dealer- I was trying to hold off for the fatboy- I like the Fink but I dont LOVE it- but its a dedicated c1 so I wouldnt mind one in the quiver
Basically ERA Outfitters is going to order three, I'm getting one. It would be adventageous (price wise), to order more. That means 2+ people.
E-mail me if you're ready to commit and we can contact Juliet at ERA.
Payment / other details would go through her.
Like to wrap it up in the next 7-10 days.
