I tried one of the Jackson boats. Sorry, I don't remember which one it was. The bumps where the 'yakers put their knees kept banging my knuckles when I rolled.

the new Super Star, or the bigger version of the star is a great conversion. I was at FibArk, and a guy had one outfitted there, and it worked very well. also, talked to EJ, and asked him what he thought the best C1 conversion from Jackson would be, and he recommended the star series as it has more of a symmetrical volume hull than the Fun series... Hope all is well.
this is more than likely the play C1 I am going to convert.

I've got a super-fun, I can attest to the volume difference comment by EJ... it's squirty in the rear..

We did a C-1 conversion on my son's shootingstarr

and it worked out well. Those thigh brace nibs didn't get in the way the way they did on his Fun1 conversion. He loves the boat.

I actually cut out the 'nibs' to give my thighs a little more needed room.

85 KG....or 187Lbs
Yes its to small for River running but a great playboat. That said I have been on some Grade 3/4 stuff and its fine as long as you plan your moves well in advance as its not the fastest thing in the world.

The new 07 star series paddle WAY better then last years. They are much faster and carve alot better. Just FYI.

yeah, thats what EJ was saying... and they are also a bit wider aren't they???
as soon as I can that's the playboat I want, and the Burn for everything else...

you can upload and host them on sites like www.photobucket.com
all you need to do is create an account, and they give you embedded links that you can just cut and paste.

I'm just trying to outfit my new Fluid Nemesis, and get it on the water. A review and pics will follow.
