Post by mshelton »

Anyone know of a good source for a pair of these, online maybe?

We have 2 "ski" shops here and whenever I ask about a pair they get all crosseyed and confused.

Okay short notice - what do you need - might be able to swing by the board shop at lunch. Any particular style / maker / color (I know color is always an issue with you - you "fashion nazi")?
Just let me know.
If I get them today I can ship them out as well. Otherwise I'm on vacation next week but I could get after that if your not in a rush.

Dude, that would rock.

The wider the better and if they are pink, then there will be a 12pack coming you way next time we meet.

If you happen across a pair, send me a PM with the cost and I'll mail you a check.

just kidding on the pink but not on the 12pack

Mission accomplished! As always when dealing with the CYA its not an adventure but a bloody expedition! 8)

Got a good deal (via the ski pro card) and shown piercings in places that shouldn't be pierced. Next time I'll try to remember not to chat up the counter girl with the face full of dandling do-dads! The conversation start going south and then went way south - with show and tell! :o

PM me your address asap so I can get them out to you today!

Nah she was actually sort of cute in the punk snow/skate board slaker kind of way. Most likely pushing to get out of the teens would be my guess but way too.... "alternative".
Just too much into ink and peircings. Was, and did, show me art and metal in places I personally would have thought would hurt / get in the way. I've seen it before just not use to having a discussion about it over the lunch break! :(
Maybe she was just trying to freak out TOG :) or maybe she thought is was kewl that I needed starps for white water boat'n. The discussion about ratching one's legs down held her interest. :o
Anyway I have your address and once I package up I'll swing my the USPS and get them out to you. 8)
Oh "we" decided that the ones with the white minicell padding would get dirty and funky (to foo-foo too for a stud muffin like you) so "we" opted for the full on black with red piping fabric.
No hardware (nuts / boolts) included - it was aluminum and I figured you'd be going stainless for strenght.
Anyway they will be out shortly!
