Colorado Paddling?

Post by pdown2 »

So there is a pretty good chance I'm going to be spending a few months in Colorado coming up here shortly for work and I got a question to all those that paddle around Denver - If I take my Dagger Quake out there, am I going to get my lunch handed to me? I've never paddled outside of the SE.....to be totally honest GA, TN and AL. So I know I'm paddling when I get there but I'm in the huge debate of take my little creek boat or look at a slightly bigger boat ($$$ is a very defining force here).

Good to bring the plastic this time of year! What do you like to boat? There is a small presence of OC here in Colorado. Shoot me a pm if you want to get hooked up with us!

If you want to drive an hour north you can paddle the Poudre. Its low, but runnable. Lots of different levels, from class V to class II.
