Square PVC Tubing

Post by oopsiflipped »

Googled it with varying results. Has anyone used this for the structural rail in a C1 conversion? Went to home Depot Last night and got hosed on PVC fence rail. They said another location somewaht nearby had posts, but with holes in both side rather than just one like the end pieces.

Try vinyl downspout in the gutter section. I used to be able to find smoot, square stuff, now all I can find is the stuff with grooves made to look like metal. It takes up less space in the cockpit and I think it is strong enough - you can always reinforce it if you need to.

I've used vinyl fence rail in 2 of my conversions and think it works great and is inexpesive as well. Got mine at Lowes I think it was about $14.00 and was long enough to cut in half and use for 2 boats. It's in the garden department.
