Gyromax Restoration Help!
I recently purchased a Perception Gyromax, old but in decent shape. The hull is in good shape but is somewhat fury if you know what I mean. The outfitting has more than a few seasons on it and should all be replaced. My biggest concern at the moment is replacing the thigh straps. Where can I get replacement thigh straps for my Gyromax? Any help with restoring this old warrior would be appreciated.

Not much you can do about "furry" - you could take a propane torch with a flame spreader and wave it about *carefully* melting the "fur" into the hull. I wouldn't , though. I did that to a nice sea kayak to blend in some oyster sheel scratches and it worked OK, but I don't think I would do it again.
Any thigh straps should work - or make your own. I think there were a couple of varieties that came from the factory, don't feel that you have to match that. They can be as simple as some seat belt strap, 2" triglides and side release buckles.
