It's old & oxidized gel-coat. I've tried Maxi-Glide & it helps, but I'd like something that lasts longer. Any thoughts?

Yesterday was 105, but I'm way up here in the North. Tuesday we caught the spike. Flow went from 2,800cfs to 15,000 There's a wave at the top that I've been trying unsuccesully to catch for years & Tuesday I caught it in the Sith It's even more amazing than I ever thought it could be The guys I was with said that I was on it for over 10 minutes It's ~3' high, glassy w/ just enough of a foam pile to keep you from blowing off The Sith makes a neat "ssssssssssszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" sound as you carve
