Hey all,
I want to do a weekend river trip in mid October in Colorado. I live in Northern Colorado and would like to do a class III'ish river. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me some places to look at. I was thinking the Colorado. What about the Green or anything in southern Wyoming?
Thanks,
Ryan

Southern Wyoming looks bone dry.
The Green below Flaming Gorge is class II and is the only non-permitted section with water. I've heard launch dates for Deso are open, but that's more than a weekend (and still not much III). Not sure on Lodore.
Easiest class III in terms of access would be the Colorado. Pumphouse will be II+/ III- at this water level (900 cfs), Shoshone should be down to a III+. Westwater also had some open launch dates.
The Ark is running 400cfs give or take. Not sure how that translates.
