this is a race lay up it was Chris Enis'. The boat is in excellent condition its an 05- I think Chris used it about 5 times-I used it once on the lake-ideal for paddlers on the heavier side-

John,
If memory serves me correctly I believe they listed the upper limit at 85 kg. Big for a slalom C1. I dropped Vajda a note about the Fantome and weights in Spring of '06 and they said they had built one for an 87 kg paddler and that was the biggest to date. It might be worth the drive to just go and paddle it to see if it works for you. Looks like a nice boat.

I'm 195 and I felt great in it- I only took it to the lake to paddle once- never put in thigh straps- I liked it just don't need such a high end boat for practicing my forward strokes. Chris had knee cups which were removed - this was he is 30 some pounds less than me but liked a larger cut. The boat includes a travel bag-
What I remember was 80-90kg -I'll try tofind out for certain
I could also take some pics with me in it in water if you wanted to see the trim at 195.

Looks like a good boat for me. After I knock off a couple of liquor stores, I'll be right over to pick it up.
