Maybe if we ask Dale real nicely he'll throw up some C1 video footage of Eli and Marc Scriver from that same day on YouToob. Marc was ownin' Garb that day.

Sorry my friend but this is me in the CU Fly a few years ago. 1st year paddling it, 1st time on garb with it. Along with my friend Paul Mason that day.
Garb was a little flushy that day and didn't do much on the feature.

no i dont sit.
i make the sattle higher for an higher emphasis (i hop thats th right word)
becuse the boat is better to move.

in german it means

wenn der schwerpunkt höher ist gehen die moves leichter. deswegen sitze ich so hoch

Do you mean a higher center of gravity for doing cartwheels, etc.? Congrat's if it works for you though. Hope none of this doesn't get lost in translation. I'd suggest getting as low and wide as you can... comfortably.

Yikes!!! :o

It's a wide and extremely stable boat... but I'd speculate it to be quite tippy setup that way. I can't say that I'd want to sacrifice stability and overall better control jus for more leverage though. How tall are you... and how high is that saddle exactly?
