Hey there,

I am moving from Fort Collins Colorado to Colorado Springs. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the paddling community there (if any). I know its closer to Salida and BV, but I was wondering about closer places to paddle and how many boaters (kayak and canoers) are in the area.....and if they would like a partner?! ;-)

Do the group if you go out paddling much? I would like to meet up and paddle together if that is ok.

I'd hit the Rocky Mountain Canoe Club http://www.rockymountaincanoeclub.org if you're not already a member. I'm not sure how many are down in COS, once you hop over the Palmer Divide the mentality changes, but you could always hook up with one of the Denver groups.
