Anyone with any info on open boaters in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia or Poland?

There is the german http://www.wildwasserboard.de
with a lot oc and c1 boaters.

Some of them are also active here .. e.g. fez, tanihwa, bushpaddler...

Anythingbutarival seems to be more interested in eastern Europe.
As far as I know C1 is in popular there but not open boating.

I don't have any contact, you might try asking at http://kajak.at/215/1/0/index.php, the Austrian whitewater forum. He lives close to the Waldaist in the Mühlviertel.

And there's this guy Gerhard from Austria whom I met in Switzerland last summer. I have to get some contacts... I'll keep you informed.
