Wenatchee River Fest
I don't have anything written in stone yet, just trying to keep those who may be interested in the loop. Not sure how many c-boaters will attend, but I'm hoping for a dozen or more. I haven't had anyone confirm that they can teach a clinic yet. At this point I was thinking more in the direction of setting times to work on roll technique and/or other skills as a group. Also maybe times and meeting places for different runs over the course of the weekend. Is anyone interested in competing in the downriver or the freestyle? I'd hate to swim in bothe events and still win....

Whats the word Gents, are you heading to the Wenatchee fest? I am gonna go and would love to have some action in the DR and rodeo, decked or not. Any one else?

Is anyone else from the board definite? I could use some folks to car pool with. I'm going regardless, might have some butt boaters to go with. We should come up with a meeting time and location for each day. Let me know if there is anyone interested in purchasing a Spanish Fly this weekend.

I won't be making Wenatchee fest either. I only have Saturday off and plan on doing something locally.
For anyone interested, it is currently 34 degrees and snowing in eastern Washington and western Idaho. Cbcboats, if it hasn't already strarted there in Missoula, it soon will be. You folks on the east coast can laugh and I would not blame you. The up side is that this is one of the best water years for the northwest in the past 20. I just wish we would get into the 70's, even for a little while.

We're on the schedule. It is official! Hopefully someone other than me will show up! I'm no expert on either outiftting or rolling, but what the hey!
I'll keep bumping this to the top til I get some response!

Good for you Gabe!! I think seeing canoe events on the schedule will encourage more canoes to start attending festivals like this!
If I wasn't travelling for work, I'd have tried to talk some Vanc, BC canoes into going. Actually, I tried anyway, but they said it was too far for a 2-day weekend, and something about the Wenatchee being high for canoes in June, and the local options, and the gas,...
Have fun, PY.
