Two nights ago I put a foot-long crack in the stern of my Cascade while trying to squeeze through a slot too narrow for the boat (or at least too narrow for a boat oriented somewhat perpendicular to the slot....missed my line by a little). It was only a matter of time - I've abused that boat for 10 years and it was wearing thin. I'm now in the market for a new creekboat. I found some discussion of the Robson Finkenmeister on this site, but no real details. Does anyone out there have one? Is it a good creek boat for a larger person? (205 lbs.) Alternatively, could someone let me know their favorite creek K-1 to convert? I prefer boats a little longer and higher in volume, so maybe a LL Gus?
Thanks for any input or advice.
