Name of the river
Anyone know what river Bill Mason's "Path of the Paddle" was filmed on?

In case you didn't know, Paul is Bill's son and posts here as "pmp". He has posted recently, so maybe he will be able to chime in presently.

Hi !
I Haven't read path of the paddle, but the Petawawa is a very small river (ran it 10 times) with classic rapids like Crooked chute (CIII-IV)and roll way rapids(CIII). 3 day trip(we'll be there again this year on labour day weekend (aug 30th-sep 1st), simply love that stretch of water, some of the finest camp sites and beautiful scenery .
Nahanni (on my todo list !) is a major river with big volume water that takes at least 3 weeks + to run and surrounded by mountains(paddlers set up base camps and go on hiking trips. A buddy of mine took 2 months to run it due to all to mountain hiking he did . I remember Paul telling me he ran it like 17 times...
Should be easy to deferenciate both just by the size of the water in the book.
Paul help .
