So, just for argument's sake, let's say that some guy in North Carolina put in a bid on this boat and won it. Let's say he's going to be vacationing in Vermont next week and can pick the boat up, maybe paddle the Deerfield, but is travelling home by plane. How could such a guy get the boat from Vermont to points significantly further south? I'll probably be going to Vermont again in a year or two by car, but I'd rather get the boat to my house before that. I'll be going to the Yough at the end of the month. Is there any chance that a VT/CT/MA/etc paddler would be headed toward the Yough soon? And that someone near the Yough could store the boat for me until I get there? I'll trade beer, cash, and a double dose of river karma for some help.

you won it?
There's a good chance I'm going to be driving to WV for GauleyFest this Sept.
I'm in Mass and could almost certainly help.
Talk soon,
David
