"pocket rocket" vs. "kinpin 6.2" vs. &qu
This summer I have been paddling an ego. Now I'm looking to get into a spudboat this fall while there are deals to be had on this years boats.
I weigh in just shy of 150. I tried the pocket rocket very briefly in the spring and I can't remember much about it. In the summer I tried a kingpin, and I seem to remember it being very fast for its length, and super easy to flatwater cartwheel.
The only thing that scares me about the kingpin is the plastic. I have heard several horror stories about the thin, brittle plastic cracking around the kayak seat bolts. I have been wondering however, if this would be a problem any more if I took the K1 seat out and replaced it with a whole lot of foam (maybe some extra aluminum supports too?).
No experience with the G-force. It just looks like a bombproof little boat, and I saw Brooks paddling one in "Next Generation".
Any thoughts?

what about a pop. i just picked one up for 400! the pocket rocket would be hard to find cheap. i would stay as far away from dagger as i could. there plastic is crap, and if you want to keep a bout for a while, it just isnt a good choice.
another boat to think about is the S6. the older ones are suppose to make better c boats, and they are easy to find used. hope this helps --- joey

Dude!
Hey Man,
I love my Kingpin! Finally got better outfitting and a good lap belt! Anywho plastic does suck...my hull and everything has been holding up good so far...
LL Pocket Rocket is a good boat... slow but arial machine!
Spuds to think about:
Kingpin
Pocket Rocket
Not pyrhanna... too wide not a fan
Roit plastic sucks and i hate there boats ie the Air. It's great for carving and would make a great ocean kayak.
Necky Vibe/Chronic are good
G Force is a sloppy Kingpin but can be found cheap!
Transformer.,..i didn;t like not responsive edge to edge like a big truck
The New bliss stick RAD...will be VERY hard to find.
I'll try to think of more i gotta go!
Later dude

spud boat?
I picked up a LL skip C-1 this summer.
Short, slicey, surfs adequately, cartwheels, squirts, rolls, stalls fantastically. Great Plastic. Sloooowww!! down river though. No idea for aerials, our local features aren't very good for that sort of thing.
