Wanted: Perception Sage

Post by Sir Adam »

Well, I "have" one, but it has come to my attention that it is not as seaworthy (riverworthy?) as I had thought. It's not faded, but now sports hundreds of cracks...including one which lets a rather embarrassing amount of water in....

So, if anyone has one that IS still river worthy, I'm interested. The "Museum" boats get stored out of the sun, but do get paddled occasionally (I try and make sure each one gets paddled at least once a year by someone at least, even if just on flat water).

Reply, PM, or use the E-mail link to contact me:)

:D Mine ("Miss Piggy") began cracking up back about 1984. Perception told me that, at that time, five years was all their boats were likely to last, although they were trying for more.

The trash men refused to take Miss Piggy until I tore her in half, broke her in shards, and stuffed her in two garbage cans.

There is one here in town that, as far as I know, is intact. It is the black one in the gallery. I can see if he is willing to part with it... He's a boat collector / accumulator, too...
