ICF Slalom video series

Post by edg »

Robbin Bell, Australian c-1 stud, with the ICF, has put out a pretty slick set of video on slalom c-1 technique. Sections 5 and 6 are especially good. Enjoy...edg

Yeah, those are great videos! I stumbled across them a couple of weeks ago, and have watched all of them numerous times.

Sure would be nice if that series was available in DVD.

Mike Druce and Robin Bell are named in the copyright statement at the end. Anyone know how to contact them? They may not have a problem with folks converting that to DVD (it can be done), though a DVD from the source would be of higher quality.

It would also be nice to have the BCU technique library on DVD. From their website it looks like it was available in the past.

I'm going to practice the Nibor over the winter. My first slalom experience this fall was a blast. I entered C1 and C2 classes. I didn't do bad either, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Neal, we'll definitely have to run C2 at the next Armada or Concordia. My partner at the slalom events has been great and next year I think we will be real competitors in the NESS.

Awww, that's really great, Jim! I'm humbled by you keepin' the faith in me. :D

You know, these slalom videos are for the ICF development program, so I wonder if they already have dvds available? The interviews are a big plus.
