Here's the funniest thing I've read lately. At www.outdoorreview.com there is a review of the Dagger Ovation by AndrewB. He wrote, "I would best describe myself as a fisherman but that was not an option. I am by no means an expert but I have used canoes in rivers before. The ovation I used was the goofiest piece of crap I have ever had the displeasure of paddling. It seems well built but compared to a regular canoe it has some really strange handling characteristics. Forget about fishing out of it. Perhaps a lighter person might have more luck with it. I don't know but after the fourth time I capsized it I'd had enough." I guess he was lucky he wasn't in something more radical.

I like it! I think I'll read the other reviews on the site, too :D

Mind you, I occasionally think of myself as a fish person, not only because I like fish, but it seems when I find some of these CBoats I spend some time communing with them :o ... (Anyone who's paddled the Groove, Oxygen, or a WildWater C1 knows EXACTLY what I mean  )

I read that review, too, while looking for a decent comparison between it and something I'd paddled. After reading that review, I want one. "Really strange handling characteristics" compared to a "regular" canoe!
