Anybody ever consider doing an H2 or H3 conversion?

For what it is worth, I have used a retired hot air pop corn popper to heat boats for minor mods. There is little to no risk that you will get the boat hot enough to melt, but it certainly gets warm enough to exert some influence on it. In fact, you may need to use towels or something to help keep the heat where needed.

I stuck one in the bow of a Whiplash, draped a towel over the cockpit, and with straps and the odd scrap of wood compressed the bow pretty significantly. It would hold its shape for well over six months before it remembered it's original shape.

So, if you've got one lying around and don't have a heat gun...
