There's been far too many headbangin' "lifestyle" videos put out in the past 10 years for my taste... and not much of any historical significance. Love the stoke on this one.

Pre ordered the extend too.

Should be a good "hang out and watch by the camp fire video" after taking a pod of kids paddling. Anything to feed that stoke!

Metal flakes is pretty cool too!

Darn you decker ... I went and looked at http://www.stepintoliquid.com/ ....so now I've ordered it and an old school ski video I've wanted for a while (fist full of moguls)....hot dog the movie was there cheap too so now I have to explain to my wife why I now has packages arriving! Oh well... my version of TARP!

Step into Liquid is one of my favorite cold winter day surfing films... I'll gaurantee you'll enjoy it... even people that don't surf or care much about surfing have seen it at our home and enjoyed it.

I truly hope this film about whitewater is of equal caliber and cause for celebration. Hopefully it will do something positive for the sport that even non-paddlers will be able to enjoy and at some point be able to say... "o.k.... now I get it"

Yeah... I have that one as well. Greg Noll cracks my a$$ up... check out Billabong Odyessy as well some time... some cool waves in France and other odd places.

Hey all
thanks for the kind words in advance of seeing the film...

One of the coolest parts was seeing the C-boat contribution to the sport through the years. I was blown away to see the transition in film that unfolds from the late 1960s to early 70s (when I started)... I think I knew the roots of decked cboats were in Open Canoes, but I had no idea of some of the boats that came in between!

I saw Call of the River last week at its Arlington showing. Probably the most comprehensive and well put together whitewater documentary I've ever seen.

It reminded me a lot of a movie version of Sue Taft's book (which they were giving away at the showing). It was interesting to learn about so much of the sport's history from this movie.

Also, a big shout out to Team River Runner and Joe Mornini!!
