Where are you located?

And why do you want an Atom (not that it is a bad boat... but depending on your weight there may be much better).

It depends on what you want to paddle. I gather from your other posts you may already have a slalom boat - as they work as great river runners I'm assuming you don't need a boat of that sort. So, creek boat? rodeo? Surfing? Cquirt? what do you plan on using the boat for....

If I could only own ONE boat, it would likely be a Shaggy Sith. My previous favorite (a phenomenal boat, but a bit long for what I paddle these days feature wise) was a Viper (Frachella designed C1).

If you prefer plastic there are a few C1 specific designs newer than the Atom (Wheelboy and Finkenmeister being the two I always think of), and numerous conversion folks seem to like.

Hello Adam,

I need a down river boat but in plastic. I paddle my carbon fiber boat only in a slalom course with gates, in order to leave it in a good state. I need a plastic boat to run rivers with my local club partners on our whitewater rivers. What I like in the Atom is that it is fairly quick and maneuvrable and it gives me the same sensation I like in my fiber boat. ( They have approximately the same shape) It stops in every little eddy and it is fantastic in front surf and good squirting. I need suggestion about something similar or even a similar kayak conversion. Thank you for your help
