Cascade C1 Fully Outfitted for Sale $400

Post by tmcmat01 »

Sorry if I'm telling you stuff you already know, but I want to give the best description I can. Dagger hired 5-time world champion and arguably the greatest whitewater canoe slalom racer ever, Jon Lugbill, to help design the Cascade. It is a C1'ers dream. The outfitting includes: Easy Gripª grab loops, deck loops and seat accessory loops , drain plug, minicell knee pads and foot pads, padded seat assembly with adjustable, quick-release thigh straps. The graphics are molded into the hull. Length 11', Width 27.50", Weight 47lbs, Cockpit Size 24" x 19". The extra length allows for easy storing of enough gear for overnighters, as well as better tracking on flat water sections. I also like the extra length when there is a lot of gradient... you can "jump" over stuff instead of hammering into it or pinning under it (think logs and undercuts!). The Cascade surfs like a champ! The asymmetrical hull is stable and forgiving, but it still turns on a dime. It runs creeks and technical water with ease, and it LOVES big, pushy water (i.e. The Gauley, The New), where it easily punches through holes and actually pushes the bow up over the nasty stuff. It rolls with almost no effort at all. The extra depth at the midsection allows for a taller seat, which is more comfortable. It has incredible hull speed. The boat just "feels" safe and reliable. The boat is structurally and cosmetically in excellent shape. I customized the saddle and knee/toe pads to me, so you may need to do some modifications. Includes all 4 flotation bags... no leaks. I'm 230lbs and it drives like a dream. My kids are 100lbs, and it rides even better for them... they embarrass me! Asking $400. Will throw in a new skirt (The Kilt). It is good up to a 36" waist, and it is really tight around the cockpit. I only used it once. Injuries took me out of the sport, at least for now. I want to see someone take it that will have a dam good time with it! Shipping isn't included, but I'll work with you if possible. I'm just north of Detroit. I have plenty of pics I can send. It is yellow and white. :D
