Rapid Runner Bilge Systems

Post by ezwater »

Has anyone got the latest on Rapid Runner Bilge Systems? I am perfectly capable of making my own pump system, but theirs appears to be sound, and being lazy, I would rather spend my low flow toilet rebate money on a ready-made system.

As far as I know they are done. No great loss, the customer service was poor anyway.

Someone or something is keeping their website running. Not that that means a whole lot.

ezwater,

Don't know anything about these people or their product, but someone else posted a reference to them some time ago. Take a look.

I can vouch for JTK's stuff. Well priced, good customer service. The other ones look "cleaner" but way pricier.

The website has moved from http://jtkcanoes.110mb.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to the following location:

http://jtkcanoes.weebly.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It has a lot of information about building and maintaining an Electric Bilge Pump.

Yeah, I found it, have been exchanging info about which unit to try. Even a basic unit will remove water much faster than I can pump it out by hand, but adding a little side pump is said to get more water out.

Mine was handy a couple of times on the Little River Canyon today.
