fifth year

Post by mattm »

fifth year coming up in my NRS. I found out last year the front zip goes low enough so I don't need the relief zip. Don't think the relief zip is essential. Take a break, take a leak, stretch, air out etc...Booties are essential, but I think most if not all suits have them standard now.
so glad for Krylon, ABS and acetone.Squirt, sail, paddle and pole.

I feel the same. They are very nice, but if you find a good suit with no relief zip it shouldn't be a deal-breaker.

if you find a suit with ankle gaskets you can always glue in latex socks just like you would new gaskets.

may's well just wear the thing upside down  it'd look like a scene from some sci-fi movie, or maybe South Park

I think those would go over well with the kayakers :P

A guy we paddled with once said (in response to someone saying they tried a kayak but wasn't a kayaker) "That's like saying 'I'm not happy, I just had a homosexual experience'."

Remember we are open boaters, with open minds...the statement could have used hetero.
