Another opportunity to plug Thrill of the Paddle.

Two of the six chapters are spent strictly on what they call classic canoes or at least 16' long.

Well, I know there are many thousands more kayakers than open boaters, but of all the open boaters I have ever seen or paddled with, I have to say that Lengthy and Logboatin'; well you two are the only ones that paddle like this????????????????????? Makes me sorta wonder. What about the rest of you?

Getting "thrown" forward is a rare occurance, of course if the bow breaks the surface on a drop, or u trying punchn steep hydraulics, u sometimes slide forward as the boat slows down, but worst case u hit the thwart and keep paddlin. Not an issue really.
And hey, i niver said a longboat is steep crik tool, but on the majority of IV runs its a viable weapon, that possesses the capability to dismiss lesser machinery.
Just havn fun, showin that boat design is but one aspect to evolve, u can also evolve technique/skill. Not sure the two are mutually exclusive.

Geez, Lengthy and I may be da only two peeps boat this way, but I know we're on ta sumpin', if we can p o so many yakkers and c boaters!!!
