Just saw one of these *link* on woot.com (woot-off today).
This could be an alternative to a conventional pump. After swamping or rolling, just switch this on and let it float around spraying the water out until your boat is dry. You could tether it in if you were afraid it would get away.
That's a lot cheaper than an Attwood pump, switch, and sealed lead acid battery, too.
