alternative to a conventional pump

Just saw one of these *link* on woot.com (woot-off today).

This could be an alternative to a conventional pump. After swamping or rolling, just switch this on and let it float around spraying the water out until your boat is dry. You could tether it in if you were afraid it would get away.

That's a lot cheaper than an Attwood pump, switch, and sealed lead acid battery, too.

I find it strange that they don't list how many GPM it pumps. It is almost like they designed it for some other purpose!

Just be sure you mount it behind the pedestal - not sure how it would work up front with offside strokes.

Looks interesting, but since there are no flow rates or other technical information posted can you post some video of yours in action. What color goes with yellow Mohawk hull?
